The institution, Ishavasyam Inter College, Tulsipur , opened with five students only in july 1995. It has been growing ever since. It graw physically, and idealogically as well. There have been some basic concepts attached with it all along. They concern, primarily, man and his environment. Ecopodium views the world as an ecological unit and regards every child therein as an integral part of a vast ecological system. Each and very one of them with his/her individuality influences the system, and in turns is also influenced by it per mutual interaction between the two. The institution considers this dynamic equilibrium the basis of education, and therefore believes in the adoption of such a system of instruction in the natural enviromment of which the tiny-tots will develop their capabilities and ensure their gentle, just and effective participation in the overall development of humane qualities in the world-society.
What We are thinking..?
'Children are like water, bottle them up and they stagnate, Let them run wild and they make a mess, guide them and they bring life to all they touch!' Every child is a spark of the divine meant to progress, evolved and develop through experiences. This development on the line of the child’s own choice needs to be nourished and not forced to be parent ambitions or pre-ordained expectations of society. .
